Terms of Service
These Terms explain the rules for using FynTrends, including account use, credits, payments, third-party lookups, and billing disputes.
By accessing or using our website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the services.
Our services may make requests to third-party providers, including DataForSEO, GDELT, and OpenAlex. We operate the platform and facilitate access to those services, but we do not control their availability, accuracy, pricing, or terms of service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use or suspected security incident. Authentication services are provided primarily by Supabase Auth. Legacy Clerk authentication may remain available for some accounts during migration.
- Credits are deducted when a request is submitted or execution begins, as applicable to the relevant feature.
- We are not responsible for interruptions caused by your device, browser, network connection, power failure, or closing the page. Such interruptions may still result in a credit being consumed.
- Purchased credits are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where required by applicable law or where a refund or reversal is required because of a verified technical error, duplicate charge, or fraud.
- We may, in our discretion, issue refunds or credits for verified processing errors or other issues we determine were caused by us.
Our pricing for credits and services may change from time to time. Features that depend on third-party data or services may also be affected by changes in third-party pricing, availability, or usage limits, and we are not responsible for such changes. The applicable price is the price shown at checkout or otherwise presented to you before purchase.
Payments may be processed through PayPal or other payment processors. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge the applicable payment method for all purchases. We reserve the right to dispute fraudulent or abusive chargebacks and to suspend or terminate accounts associated with abuse, fraud, or payment disputes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of or relating to your use of the services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which FynTrends is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise or a separate written agreement states otherwise. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms will be brought in the courts having jurisdiction over that location, unless applicable law requires a different forum.
If you have a billing question or wish to raise a dispute, contact support@fyntrends.com. We will acknowledge receipt of a dispute within 2 business days, investigate within 7 business days, and aim to resolve the matter within 30 days, subject to the nature and complexity of the issue.
